Leftover saguaro blooms. They are long gone now and the birds had a great time feasting on the fruit pods. Now, new little "arm" buds are starting to appear on some of the cacti.

After the saguaro blooms the yellow or white flowers, it sprouts this red fruit. The birds love to feast on it and it gave me the perfect opportunity to capture this little guy.

I might be away from my computer for a bit... but I'll be back!

those bloomin' cacti

I've been collecting picture's of cacti during the last couple of months. In different stages of bloom. Some are in our yard and neighborhood, others are just here and there and... everywhere. Today seemed like a good day for a cactus display. I don't really know the names of most of them, and I am sure that there are many, many varieties that I didn't get a picture of. These are just a few.
