"Secure the detail."

Three words my dad used to say.

It meant locking up the house before going to bed.
Turning the the lights off when leaving a room.
Double checking to be sure that the boat is on the trailer correctly before heading down the road.
Packing the trunk just right for maximum load.
Leave with plenty of time to be on time.
Keep track of your belongings.
Be sure your gas tank is never alarmingly close to empty.
Pay attention to what is going on around you.
Save money and spend wisely.
Always check your rearview mirror.
Never put yourself in harm's way.
Make good choices.
Pay attention.
Listen.

It is good to be sure that your details are always secure.
